Ours hives, if needed, are only treated with organic mitocides. If sugar water is used to supplement the hives, those frames are marked to ensure they are not extracted for selling "Funny Honey". It is used to feed for winter only.
Pure and/or Raw means the honey is never heated, filtered, or altercated in any way, just removed from the hive, extracted, and strained to remove the large particles of wax. Our honey may contain small particles of wax.
